IT Security Consultant (Remote, Canada-wide)

We’re hiring two experienced IT Security Consultants to support strategic cybersecurity initiatives within a dynamic and forward-thinking security team.

Location: Remote (Anywhere in Canada)

Start Date: October 2025 / ASAP

This role supports the rollout of a new security assessment methodology and contributes to broader strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational security practices. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, conduct security reviews, and help implement innovative solutions that improve security posture and operational efficiency.

• Lead and support the implementation of strategic security initiatives
• Conduct security assessments of enterprise-level projects
• Develop scripts and software to support security processes
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership
• Promote a strong security culture across the organization

• 8+ years in enterprise security, with 4+ years in Dev Ops, R&D, or architecture roles
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO, OWASP)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI, and 5G
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with process automation and improvement
• Exposure to AI or AI-assisted solutions
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA)
