Verizon’s Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels. Joining the VCG Wholesale Support and Data Management team, you will focus on the day‑to‑day data support of strategic reseller relationships.

As a Senior Analyst of Data Reporting & Analysis, you will manage Resellers’ access to critical data used in their business operations, user access & licenses, and security.

You will act as a critical resource for our Resellers’ data needs. Your primary goal is to ensure access to critical reports and resolve any technical issues by removing roadblocks and coordinating effectively between internal teams, external service providers, and our valued reseller partners.

• Manage Report Center:
  Web‑based Cognos application interfacing with our Data Warehouse, providing reporting for Reseller customers. Responsibilities include training Resellers & internal users, Tier 1 troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, creating & testing new reports, and implementing system enhancements.
• Manage Reseller License Tracker (LT):
  Supplemental tool to manage Reseller user access and licenses. Includes creating new Reseller shared folder profiles, approving user access to run reports, and approving new Cognos licenses.
• Manage Active Directory Object Management Dashboard (ADOM):
  Primary security dashboard for user access. Responsible for trustee of over 55 ADOM groups (USWIN & ADEBP), managing groups for licenses, general access, and Reseller shared folders, and completing quarterly certification of all groups.
• Collaborate with internal partners, external service providers, and Resellers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports, access, and security of Report Center.

Dedicated Problem Solver with urgency to address Reseller data needs; enjoys digging deep to uncover causes of data delivery issues and working with partner teams to implement permanent solutions. Skilled Communicator with professional composure while navigating complex conversations. Natural prioritizer thriving in fast‑paced environments, managing high volume of technical tasks without sacrificing accuracy or detail.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant experience (work, military, training).
• Three or more years of experience working in a Cognos environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Self‑starter capable of independent and team work.
• Experience creating and managing ADOM groups.
• Extensive background with Cognos and practical SQL (Big Query) experience.
• Experience creating and managing JIRA stories.
• Proficient project management skills for system conversions.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
• Curiosity about AI with interest in developing AI proficiency and application for Reseller data needs.
• Process improvement mindset.
