The current SAP Framework agreement has been in effect since . The rollout and implementation of the existing SAP landscape took approximately 10 years.
The SAP environment consists of the following main components:
CDP (Custom Developments)
Certain applications have been custom-built due to the organization's services as a credit insurer.
Custom developments intended to transition to SAP and become commercial offerings, ultimately landing with SAP Fioneer. Intellectual property is owned by Fioneer. Support is provided by SAP Fioneer.
Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment
SAP only offers comprehensive maintenance contracts to ECC customers until 2030 (select products). The organization wants to prepare for future contractual renegotiation/migration to more recent SAP products.
The organization is exploring the following topics:
Future contracting opportunities and options
Identification of key contractual requirements and clauses for completeness, flexibility, transparency, risk mitigation, and cost optimization
Alignment of future Bill-Of-Materials with required SAP modules and functionalities according to the SAP roadmap and design
