We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Business Systems Analyst (BA) partners with various business units to understand and improve business processes and to support the delivery and maintenance of business applications. The BA maintains a strong understanding of end-to-end processes; elicits and documents functional and non-functional requirements; supports solution design and application architecture; coordinates change requests and defect resolution; supports unit and integration testing;

and
delivers user training for new applications and enhancements.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of the Business Systems Analyst are as follows:

 Serve as the liaison between business teams and the IT department for all current and new business systems development and enhancements.
 Create or contribute to business project charter documents as required.
 Learn and maintain an understanding of current business processes; proactively learn new processes as they are adopted.
 Elicit and document business and user requirements for approval (e.g., BRDs and requirements specifications).
 Lead requirements gathering sessions.
 Analyze current business processes and suggest optimizations.
 Develop use cases, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, flow charts, etc.
 Translate business requirements into clear inputs for IT developers.
 Support solution design and application architecture; assist with unit and integration testing.
 Deliver user training for new applications and enhancements.
 Manage the application change request and defect resolution processes.
 Manage the ERP month-end and year-end processes.

REQUIRED SKILLSET:
To thrive in our fast-paced, highly flexible work environment, the candidate must
possess the following:

 Demonstrated stakeholder support skills.
 Proficient in Microsoft/Oracle DBMS platforms and transactional SQL.
 Proficient in developing reports in any one of the main reporting solutions. (Crystal Reports/Power
BI, Tableau etc.)
 High competency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
 Must be capable of delivering results through problem-solving and conflict resolution.
 Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
 Ability to work on multiple complex tasks with little or no direct supervision.
 Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Degree or diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent relevant certifications.
 Business analysis certifications are considered assets (e.g., IIBA).
 Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst-related experience.
 Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile software development
methodologies is an asset.
 Familiarity working with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
 Knowledge of application testing methodologies is an asset.
Project management experience and skills are an asset.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

office and a 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
