Requirements Must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a managed services environment
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a curious mindset
- Ability to confidently address technical challenges under pressure
- Excellent aptitude for explaining technical matters to non-technical users
- Demonstrated persistence in resolving issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with technologies including Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, basic networking, and cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure is an advantage
- Diagnose and fix Windows workstation and hardware issues
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 environments including user management, licensing, and multi-factor authentication
- Assist in managing Active Directory, focusing on user permissions and management
- Resolve networking challenges related to DNS, DHCP, wireless setups, routers, and VPNs
- Maintain and support Windows Server environments
- Configure and oversee backup solutions
Help with deploying network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless systems - Document network configurations, systems, and troubleshooting processes
- Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions
- Manage both support tickets and project-related tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding issues, timelines, and resolutions
- Conduct research on unknown problems and ensure thorough resolution
