We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Medical Imaging & Segmentation Specialist with strong expertise in 3D Slicer to support clinical and research-focused imaging projects.
This role involves high-precision segmentation, 3D reconstruction, and quantitative analysis of medical imaging datasets across a range of modalities.
Role OverviewYou will leverage 3D Slicer to perform advanced segmentation and modeling of anatomical and pathological structures. The role requires strong technical capability, medical imaging domain knowledge, and the ability to produce clinically reliable outputs suitable for research or healthcare applications.
Compensation varies based on experience level, case complexity, and project scope.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced segmentation of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging datasets
- Conduct 3D reconstruction and anatomical modeling from DICOM files
- Develop and customize 3D Slicer modules and Python scripts to automate workflows
- Validate and optimize anatomical models for clinical or research use
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret findings
- Document methodologies and maintain organized case records
- Stay current with emerging tools and techniques in medical imaging and segmentation
- Demonstrated expertise in 3D Slicer (segmentation, DICOM handling, quantitative analysis)
- Strong Python scripting skills within 3D Slicer
- Solid understanding of medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc.)
- Experience validating anatomical models for research or clinical applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MD) in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or related field
- Experience working in regulated clinical environments
- Prior involvement in medical imaging research or peer-reviewed publications
- Familiarity with regulatory or compliance standards relevant to medical imaging
- Detail-oriented with strong anatomical knowledge
- Able to balance technical precision with clinical relevance
- Experience collaborating with physicians, engineers, or research teams
- Fully remote
- Hourly compensation based on expertise and project complexity
- Project duration may vary based on needs and performance
