** BDO Digital is looking for a Net Suite Developer to join our growing Net Suite ERP Practice, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in Net Suite development within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
As a Net Suite Developer, you will work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and project teams to support the delivery of Net Suite implementations, customizations, and integrations for our clients. You will contribute to real-world projects while building your technical skills, learning industry best practices, and growing your understanding of enterprise business processes. You will receive supervision and guidance from leadership and will be expected to provide technical inputs and recommendations as needed throughout project delivery.#
Core Responsibilities
* Support Net Suite ERP implementations, enhancements, and optimizations under the supervision of project leadership and functional consultants
* Assist in translating functional requirements into technical solutions, providing technical input and recommendations as needed
* Develop, test, and deploy custom Net Suite solutions using Suite Script (2.x), workflows, saved searches, and Suite Builder
* Support the development and maintenance of integrations between Net Suite and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs and file-based integrations
* Participate in data migration, system configuration, testing, and deployment activities across Net Suite implementations
* Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and project managers to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives
* Perform troubleshooting and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues
* Contribute to the development and adoption of BDO's Net Suite development standards, best practices, and coding conventions
* Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and configurations
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality across the team
* Support knowledge transfer sessions and assist with creating training materials for internal teams and clients# Learning and Growth
A key part of your role is continuous learning and skill development. You will be expected to:
* Actively learn and apply BDO's internal Net Suite development standards, including coding conventions, naming conventions, error-handling protocols, and documentation requirements
* Gain hands-on experience with the Suite Cloud Development Framework (SDF) and version control systems like Git
* Develop proficiency in testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques
* Build understanding of ERP business processes, including finance, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report
* Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, code reviews, and training programs to accelerate your professional development
* Work toward Net Suite certifications (e.g., Suite Foundation, Suite Cloud Developer) with support from BDO
* Stay current with Net Suite platform updates, new features, and industry best practices

* Approximately 2 years of Net Suite development experience, including hands-on work with Suite Script (2.x)
* Solid understanding of Suite Script (Client, User Event, Suitelet), Net Suite workflows (Suite Flow), saved searches, and Net Suite customization
* Exposure to full-cycle Net Suite implementations, including development, testing, and deployment activities
* Experience or familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration concepts
