Job Description

The ideal candidate has experience executing manual test cases and supporting test automation efforts, including UiPath-based automation/workflows, and is comfortable working in an Agile environment. This position will be remote (work-from-home).

Position Duties
  • Create and execute test cases and test scripts (manual and automated) to validate functionality, reliability, and usability.
  • Perform smoke, regression, and integration testing across lower environments and support release validation.
  • Support automation testing activities related to UiPath workflows, including validation of expected outputs, exception handling, and repeatability.
  • Document test execution results, defects, and test evidence; follow issues through resolution with development teams.
  • Log, track, and manage defects and testing work items in Jira (including status updates, workflows, and traceability to stories/acceptance criteria).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and assist with refining acceptance criteria and test readiness.
  • Coordinate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements

Required Skillset / Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing/QA (manual with some automation exposure).
  • Experience using Jira for defect tracking and/or test execution management.
  • Familiarity with automation testing concepts and supporting automated test execution/maintenance.
  • Experience with or exposure to UiPath (building, running, troubleshooting, or validating workflows/bots).
  • Basic scripting experience in JavaScript or another scripting language (e.g., Python, Power Shell) for test utilities, data setup, or automation support.
  • Knowledge of Section 508/accessibility testing fundamentals, including how to validate common accessibility requirements; familiarity with accessibility testing tools is a plus (not required).
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current experience supporting an IRS program/contract (and use of GFE) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) and/or Trusted Tester exposure (nice to have; not required).
  • Familiarity with web services concepts (SOAP/API) and basic data validation (SQL) is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree is preferred

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a background investigation (e.g., MBI or equivalent, as required by the contract).
