Location: Germany

- RATE: USD 38-43/Hour
One of our leading AI research clients is seeking a Bilingual German STEM Expert with strong expertise in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry to develop and refine high-quality reasoning prompts used to evaluate advanced AI systems.
In this role, you will create and assess German and English STEM prompts and responses, ensuring scientific accuracy, logical rigor, and clear academic German phrasing while maintaining alignment with English where required.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in German and/or English with detailed scientific constraints and multi-step reasoning requirements
- Define and document evaluation standards, including comprehensive rubrics that assess scientific accuracy, reasoning depth, and linguistic clarity
- Conduct model testing and grading by evaluating outputs for correctness, reasoning quality, and clarity across both languages
- Support benchmarking and quality assurance processes to maintain consistency and reliability across German-language STEM evaluations
- Collaborate within a structured project environment to deliver high-quality outputs
- Native-level written fluency in German with strong English reading and writing skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
- Familiarity with undergraduate-level STEM topics
- Strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- 2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or applied STEM roles
- Experience designing assessments, academic content, or evaluation rubrics
- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Approximately 1-month commitment
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on performance and project needs
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
- 15-minute AI-led interview
- 45-minute written assessment (rubric-writing exercise)
