Federal Sales Account Manager

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government Department of Defense accounts in the Eastern U.S. region
• Identify diverse customer needs and understand how the product portfolio can satisfy those needs
• Build strong relationships and customer knowledge to become a trusted adviser
• Lead the extended team to understand account strategies and business imperatives
• Allocate resources and collaborate with internal product groups and external partners to meet key account needs

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety/military experience or 8+ years of relevant experience
• Technical background in RF communications and First Responder software application platforms (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) strongly desired
• Proven track record of closing major sales
• Excellent communication, sales, and writing skills
• Working knowledge of  and Google Productivity Suite strongly desired

• Experience in technical roles selling to or working for Department of Defense Services or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies
• Understanding of the proposal process with proposal assembly experience
• Knowledge of IP networking, Information Assurance, or Cyber Security
• Ability to help customers envision solutions, services, and applications
