Ecommerce Architect - Work from home

This position requires someone who is commutable to Ft Myers FL once per fiscal quarter. TEKsystems cannot work C2C on this opportunity.

Large Retail Apparel company is migrating to a new ecommerce platform and looking for a ecommerce architect to work with their existing team of developers and Solutions Integrator (Bounteous) and need to add sr. member to the team.

This position is responsible for designing Enterprise-wide solutions to include specific expertise in Digital, E-Commerce and Cloud solutions.

Accountable for leading, developing, and delivery of E-Commerce architecture for companies ecommerce function. This includes domain models, principles, current-state and target state architectures, and roadmaps.

Drives innovation in the E-Commerce domain (Cloud Adoption, Microservices, Omni-Channel initiatives, Personalization, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence).

Writes functional, technical and architecture specifications and diagrams for feature enhancements, integrations, and solutions.

Demonstrates leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation.

Responsible for defining the incremental state architectures, design patterns, and implementing best practices for E-Commerce.

Partners with external vendor partners as needed to implement solutions.

This ecommerce solution with be built on Headless Architecture standards
- Headless commerce is an e-commerce architecture where the front-end is decoupled from the back-end commerce functionality and can thus be updated or edited without interfering with the back-end.

• Digital ecosystem and E-Commerce domain (E-Commerce, PIM, Search, Order Management Systems, Loyalty, Digital Marketing)
• Experience with modern microservices architecture using Service Mesh, API Gateways, Cloud Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven track record in setting and defining architectural solutions and designs aligned with target architecture;

  QL, RESTful API development, microservices development, solid understanding of design impacts to performance, security, resiliency, and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, node.js, React / Angular, CDNs will be a big plus
