Service Developer

Overview

6-month Service Now Developer contract working with a global enterprise organization as they expand their enterprise service management capability. 6-month contract Service Now Developer role. Role focus on cybersecurity modules. Global retail success story with remote work available.

What & Why:

Due to growth our client is looking to add a Service Now Developer to their service excellence team. In this role you will collaborate closely with your team, cross-functional technical teams and global business partners, to develop comprehensive features and functionalities that enhance the Service Now platform and its capabilities. You’ll attend Agile ceremonies, develop features and enhancements based on requirements captured in stories, and conduct unit testing.

You will also configure and maintain Service Now applications, catalog items, integrations, modules, and workflows, customizing only when necessary. This role is focused on cybersecurity and requires experience with Integrated Risk Management, Third-party Risk Management, Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response.

• Focus on cybersecurity with experience in Integrated Risk Management, Third-party Risk Management, Security Incident Response, and Vulnerability Response.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver but this role can be fully remote if you choose.

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 3+ years of development experience in Service Now.
• Strong scripting skills, experience with JavaScript.
• In-depth subject matter expertise in these Service Now Modules:
• Integrated Risk Management
• Third-party Risk Management
• Security Incident Response
• Vulnerability Response
• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.
• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification for any module is preferred.
• Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.

This role pays between $65-70 per hour.
