THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analytics and Engineering professional to partner with Marketing, Strategy, and IT teams to enhance data utilization across the organization. In this role, you will own the creation, management, and improvement of various data assets—including pipelines, tables, dashboards, and other data products—while upholding high standards of data governance and aligning with institutional best practices. Your work will equip teams with the data needed to make better decisions, directly contributing to the organization’s mission.
You will also support the development and management of the business intelligence ecosystem, champion hybrid analytics models, and educate peers to foster self-service analytics capabilities. Proficiency with Databricks, dbt, SQL, Github, and Power
BI is essential, along with strong communication skills and experience in analytics or data engineering. Experience with marketing data and related analytics platforms is highly preferred.
- Create, manage, and improve data tables, pipelines, dashboards, and other data assets for various applications.
- Assist with the creation and ongoing management of data tables for use in multiple data applications.
- Collaborate with IT, Analytics, Marketing, and external partners to build, optimize, scale, and manage the Business Intelligence ecosystem.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and agency or vendor partners to ensure alignment with Marketing Analytics perspectives.
- Champion and support a hybrid Service and Self-Service analytics model within Marketing and Communication teams.
- Educate peers and stakeholders on analytics solutions to enhance self-service capabilities.
- Manage work spaces, data refresh processes, and dataflow creation to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Automate and improve data processing efficiency, including taxonomy, processes, and technical infrastructure.
- Ensure alignment with institutional data governance standards and best practices.
- Communicate complex data concepts clearly through documentation, messaging, and presentations.
- Leverage tools such as Databricks, dbt, SQL, Github, Power
BI, and marketing analytics platforms to support data initiatives. - Apply data context to inform business analysis and decision-making.
- Three or more years of experience in Analytics, Data Engineering, or a similar field.
- Proficiency with Databricks and dbt for building pipelines and tables.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Github and .yaml files.
- Experience with Power
BI and the Power Platform ecosystem. - Experience working with marketing data and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Heap, Google Marketing Platform, Meta, The Trade Desk).
- Working knowledge of phone tracking platforms such as Invoca.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information in writing and speaking, including documentation and live presentations.
- Experience managing data assets, pipelines, tables, dashboards, and data products.
- Familiarity with data governance, taxonomy, and process improvement.
- Ability to understand the context of data and apply it to inform business analysis.
- Intrapreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in deliverables and processes.
- Additional coding experience relevant to marketing analytics is a plus.
