Senior Project Manager Infrastructure & Identity Access Management (IAM)

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex initiatives across Infrastructure, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Cybersecurity. This PM will manage multiple security-focused work streams, working hands on with engineering teams to implement, harden, and expand enterprise security tools and infrastructure. This role requires a detail oriented, technical PM who excels in cross-functional coordination and thrives in a fast-paced, security-driven environment.
The Senior Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Interim CISO, IAM leadership, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of security initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership

• Lead end-to-end project management for infrastructure and IAM initiatives, including implementation, upgrades, and hardening of enterprise security tools.
• Manage ~8 active work streams across Identity, Hardware, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity.
• Work directly with engineers across IAM, VDI, Firewall, Storage, Cloud/Server, and Cybersecurity teams to track tasks and ensure cross-team alignment.
• Coordinate dependencies between teams (e.g., firewall cloud server support).
• Provide weekly updates to the Interim CISO and bi-weekly reporting to senior leadership.

Technical & Infrastructure Focus

• Oversee delivery of initiatives related to:
  • Active Directory
  • Cyber Ark
  • Sail Point
  • Identity verification technologies (including facial authentication tools)
  • VMware / ESXi
  • Backup & storage platforms
  • Hardening and segmentation activities
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and best practices.

Project Governance & Execution

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and deliverables.
• Drive task-level management with engineers this role is hands-on, not high-level program oversight.
• Manage financial tracking and budget reporting for assigned work streams.
• Utilize project management tools including Clarity and Jira for task management and reporting (Jira used lightly, not strict Scrum).
• Support enterprise readiness, change management, and operational alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Recent, hands-on experience leading IAM-focused initiatives , specifically involving:
  • Cyber Ark
  • Sail Point
  • Identity and user authentication programs
• Strong background working directly with security engineers and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage detailed technical tasks across multiple engineering functions.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership, including CISOs.
• Proficiency with project tools such as Clarity, Jira, and Microsoft Online project planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VDI, segmentation, and hardening initiatives.
• Familiarity with cross-functional infrastructure teams (cloud, network, firewall, storage).
• Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or related credentials are a plus.
