The Cloud Enablement Product Owner is accountable for the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of an enterprise cloud enablement platform supporting application development and operations in a regulated environment. The role ensures the platform provides secure, standardized, and scalable capabilities that enable consistent adoption of cloud services across the organization. This position partners closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, risk, and architecture teams to balance delivery velocity with governance, control, and operational stability.
RoleObjectives
Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for an enterprise cloud enablement platform Define and prioritize platform capabilities based on business value, architectural alignment, and risk considerations
Serve as product owner for agile delivery teams, including backlog management, sprint planning, and acceptance of deliverables
Drive adoption of standardized services, patterns, and guardrails across application teams
Ensure platform capabilities align with enterprise security, risk, and compliance requirements
Partner with stakeholders to resolve dependencies, manage trade-offs, and address delivery risks
Establish and monitor KPIs related to platform adoption, reliability, cost efficiency, and developer experience
Provide clear status, roadmap updates, and risk visibility to governance and senior management forums Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on usage data, feedback, and evolving enterprise needs
Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related discipline or equivalent experience
7–10+ years of experience in technology product ownership, platform management, or enterprise technology delivery
Experience owning shared platforms or enablement services in complex, regulated environments
Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts, Dev Ops practices, and modern application delivery
Proven ability to work across engineering, security, and control functions
Experience operating within agile delivery models
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks
Experience supporting large‑scale internal developer or application communities
Exposure to platform cost management and optimization practices
