Director of AI (Remote) - $300,000 total compensation
We have a great opportunity for a Director of AI to join a fast-growing Private Equity-backed software business that has grown from $11-55m ARR and 100-250 people in the last couple years.
As their first Director of AI, you’d be responsible for overall AI direction and adoption within the organization – including how AI solutions are customized where bought, or built with your engineering team.
We are looking for someone able lead teams but still be technically hands-on with a strong data science/ML background, comfortable in code reviews and leading technical tasks.
A background in a hands-on engineering or data/ML role is essential, with recent experience product ionizing AI solutions. Python, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI concepts essential.
This role is Remote, and would require quarterly travel to East or West Coast.
