Data Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the retail and wellness industry, is seeking a Sr. Data Architect to join their team. As a Sr. Data Architect, you will be part of the Data & Analytics department supporting enterprise-wide data strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

LocationHampton, New Hampshire (onsite; hybrid schedule with in-office presence required from Monday to Wednesday, with optional remote work on Thursday and Friday)
Pay Range$140,000 - $175,000
What's the Job?- Design and maintain a scalable enterprise data architecture aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and enforce data modeling standards, including dimensional, canonical, and domain-driven models
- Lead the creation of data governance frameworks and system-of-record strategies to ensure data quality and consistency
- Facilitate architecture and design review boards to uphold documentation discipline and best practices
- Collaborate with data engineering, business intelligence, and governance teams to implement cloud-native data solutions
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native data architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with modern data warehouse and lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT orchestration using Python and Airflow
- Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, preferably with Terraform
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability design
