What you will be doing:
As an Architect, you play a pivotal role in the inception and evolution of projects, owning the technical solution from conception to completion. Your responsibilities span research, solutioning, documentation, and defending technical decisions to clients and internal stakeholders. As a key player in multiple projects simultaneously, you facilitate workshops, champion tool use, and serve as an escalation point for technical matters, ensuring the success of project phases.
your day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Research and evaluate various technical options to inform solution architecture
- Own the technical solution throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals.
- Architect solutions that span PHP, Java, IBM i, and other relevant technologies, adapting to the unique needs of each project
- Conduct workshops and present/defend solutions to clients, emphasizing adaptability and innovation
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 12+ years of hands-on large system web-based architecture
- Experience as an expert level web application developer (Java, PHP, etc)
- Experience with RPG and IBM i (iSeries, AS400) preferred
This is a 1-year contract.
