We currently have an opportunity for an energetic Software Consultant. This role joins a team of Software Consultants to assist insurance agencies with the project of successfully implementing Hawk Soft Software.

The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) at Hawk Soft collaborates on strategic direction, learning priorities, and defined learning paths. The LXD focuses on designing and delivering high quality learning experiences to improve customer-facing learning and help content that supports product adoption, and long-term customer confidence. This role blends learning experience design, instructional principles, and practical content development to meet customers where they are, whether they are onboarding, learning a new workflow, or looking for quick answers in the moment.
The Learning Experience Designer works closely with teams and subject matter experts, to ensure learning and help content are accurate, usable, and aligned with real customer workflows.
- Design and develop customer-facing learning experiences, including structured training programs, guided learning paths, self‑paced courses, and video‑based education – based on defined learning strategies and priorities.
- Apply adult learning theory and learning experience design principles to create engaging, effective, and accessible learning experiences.
- Translate complex product functionality and workflows into clear, learner centered educational content for insurance professionals with varying levels of experience.
- Design learning experiences that support different stages of the customer journey, aligned with established learning paths and product adoption goals - including onboarding, feature adoption, and ongoing skill development.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other teams to plan, create, and validate learning content.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using customer feedback, usage data, and support insights, and iterate accordingly.
- Maintain and update existing learning experiences to reflect product changes, enhancements, and evolving best practices.
- Assist with authoring help content that complement and reinforce formal learning experiences.
- Maintain general awareness of Hawk Soft's information security policy.
- Report suspected information security incidents.
- Strong understanding of instructional design and learning experience design principles, including adult learning theory.
- Experience designing customer facing digital learning experiences.
- Ability to create learning experiences that balance depth, engagement, and practical application.
- Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and learner comprehension.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information without sacrificing accuracy.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams and subject matter experts.
- Familiarity with learning technologies such as LMS platforms, authoring tools, and content management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to content quality and continuous improvement.
- Insurance Industry experience a plus.
- Hawk Soft Client Management System experience is a strong plus.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in learning experience design, instructional design, training development, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Education, Educational Technology, User Experience Design, or a related discipline.
