This role is essential for driving the global transition of quality management systems within the Group IT Hub South Africa
, specifically supporting the evolution from the established STARD SAP template to its next-generation successor,

  Degree in IT or relevant experience; SAP WM/QM Certification.

Product / Team Context: The product provides critical features to document defects and identify root causes for shop-floor and quality management employees across all global production plants. You will play a lead role in re-implementing and improving these functions as the Group transitions to the new PROTON template over the next five years.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.

• SAP WM/QM Certification is required.

• Proven experience in a Senior/Lead capacity within SAP engineering.

• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Essential

Skills:

• Expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM) and Warehouse Management (WM).

• Proficiency in ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).

• Strong Business Analysis skills:
  Eliciting, organizing, and simplifying complex requirements.

• Ability to document requirements for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Capability to develop system solutions that align with strict quality and delivery standards.

• Experience in preparing technical documentation according to ISO standards
  .

• Strong facilitation skills for daily stand-ups and stakeholder workshops.

Advantageous

Skills:

• Experience in large-scale SAP template rollouts.

• Knowledge of automotive shop-floor and production-critical environments.

• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design and improvement of quality management features for the global PROTON template.

• Meet with end-users across global plants to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement long-term system fixes.

• Oversee the requirements management and communication lifecycle.

• Ensure all technical solutions meet the Hub's rigorous quality benchmarks.

• Mentor junior consultants and facilitate daily Agile ceremonies.
