Data Analyst, Data Engineer
Vaco is actively seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Transformation Executive for a direct-hire role supporting a highly respected industry leader focused on data modernization and evolution across the global enterprise.
Position SummaryThis executive leadership role reports directly to the Chief Data Officer and is responsible for developing and delivering the end-to-end execution of enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
Serving as the operational arm of the CDO’s strategic vision, this individual will translate enterprise data strategy into tangible outcomes across portfolios, programs, and cross-functional enterprise teams.
This is a transformation-driven execution mandate requiring enterprise influence, disciplined delivery leadership, and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Partner directly with the leadership, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and strategic partners to define and operationalize new enterprise data vision and centralized operating model.
- Lead modernization of enterprise data platforms across cloud-first environments with preference towards Google based ecosystems.
- Drive advancement of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning capabilities across enterprise verticals including operational, workforce, and revenue domains.
- Collaborate and influence stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to align data initiatives with enterprise strategy.
- Identify and resolve enterprise systemic challenges including revenue imbalance, expansion opportunities, workforce distribution inefficiencies, and predictive planning gaps.
- Establish global governance, scalability, and architectural standards within an evolving technical landscape.
- Build and scale high-performing data teams as organizational structure expands.
- Navigate global organizational dynamics across a multi-country operating footprint.
- Operate strategically while maintaining sufficient technical fluency to influence architecture, tooling, and technical modernization decisions.
- Previous executive-level experience leading enterprise data, analytics, or modernization initiatives within complex, global organizations.
- Deep understanding of modern data architectures including cloud data platforms, lakehouse environments, and enterprise analytics ecosystems.
- Strong working knowledge of data engineering practices, analytics lifecycle management, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling data modernization teams and capabilities from the ground up.
- Experience operating in multi-brand, multi-location, or integration-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems and AI enablement strategies with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience preferred, but not required.
- Proven ability to engage credibly with architects and engineers while influencing C-level stakeholders on ecosystem design and best practices.
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with individuals at all levels of an organization.

- Base Range: $280k – $290k
