Data Governance Analyst

Our client is seeking a Data Governance Analyst with strong healthcare experience to help strengthen their data practices and ensure compliance across the organization. This role requires someone who can translate governance concepts into practical policies, collaborate across teams, and leverage technical skills to support data-driven decision-making. This is a fully remote position.

Data Governance Analyst's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
• Query and analyze data using SQL to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to make governance practices clear and actionable.
• Support the adoption of data policies by making concepts approachable and relevant to end users.
• Collaborate with teams on solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Work with cloud-based platforms, particularly GCP, to support governance initiatives.

Data Governance Analyst's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Data Governance position.
• Prior healthcare experience required.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
• Experience developing governance solutions and communicating concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with Cloud Data Platforms (GCP preferred).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
