One of our companies is currently looking for a Manual QA Engineer in India.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end test strategies to ensure the highest quality of web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with various project teams to track and document quality initiatives, while actively investigating and resolving product quality issues. Your work will be critical in driving QA best practices across the organization, helping to maintain a high standard of excellence in the products delivered to clients.

Accountabilities:

Develop and define comprehensive test strategies for web and mobile applications, including suggesting the appropriate tools to use for testing
Execute testing for quality assurance and verify that products meet specifications and deliverables
Track, document, and report on quality initiatives, ensuring clear communication of the testing process and results
Collaborate with project teams to resolve product quality issues and ensure product standards are met
Act as the quality champion for products, advocating for QA best practices within the teams and client-facing interactions
Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, define quality expectations, and troubleshoot complex issues

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in testing web or mobile applications, including APIs
3+ years of experience in setting up testing processes from scratch, including building and maintaining test documentation
Strong understanding of client-server architecture and testing theory within the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and networking stacks (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSH)
Familiarity with scripting (using any modern programming language) and task estimation
Upper-intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English
Proactive mindset with the willingness to contribute to test automation and continuous learning
