Senior Technical Project Manager

Highway is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong background in SaaS software delivery and technical project management. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multiple projects across SaaS website development, operations, and engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of their projects, ensuring timely delivery while effectively managing budgets and resources. This fully remote role offers the chance to collaborate across East and West Coast time zones, contributing to innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

• Lead and manage multiple SaaS-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and design to deliver high-quality SaaS website and platform solutions
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership
• Manage project resources efficiently, adjusting plans as needed to meet changing priorities
• Ensure adherence to best practices in project management and software delivery methodologies
• Facilitate collaboration across distributed teams across different time zones

• Proven experience in SaaS software delivery and technical project management
• Strong understanding of web development, operations, and engineering processes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or similar certification is a plus
• Experience working in remote, distributed teams across different time zones

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Agile Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) and/or PMP certification is a plus.
• 5-7 years of technical project management experience in SaaS or software development environments and experience managing complex technical projects, with expertise in Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Expert-level proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD processes, and technical architecture concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across engineering, operations, and website delivery.
• Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills—you'll be leading Zoom meetings, writing clear documentation, and keeping teams aligned via email and Slack.
• Experience with generative AI tools (such as Claude or ChatGPT) and a willingness to leverage AI to enhance productivity and workflows.
• Experience in mortgage, real estate, or fintech industries is preferred but not required.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and core technical architecture concepts
• Experience in SaaS and software development environments
• Proven technical project/program management skills, including managing multiple concurrent initiatives
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
• Ability to lead meetings, drive decisions, and deliver clear, concise documentation and updates
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, translating technical concepts into business language
• Experience delivering work across cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, web)
• Ability to identify and resolve risks, blockers, and process gaps in fast-paced environments
• Experience leveraging generative AI and automation to improve productivity and workflows
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
• Preferred experience in mortgage, real estate, or fintech
