IT ASSET MANAGER
- This role is eligible for remote work in states where we maintain office locations Why This Role Matters:

As the IT Asset Manager (ITAM), you will play a pivotal role in powering the firm’s technology ecosystem. This detail-driven and proactive professional leads the end-to-end management of IT hardware assets, software licensing, ISP contracts, and mobile device deployment—ensuring our teams have the right tools to perform at their best. By maintaining precise license tracking, safeguarding compliance with vendor agreements, and delivering clear, actionable reporting, the ITAM drives smarter financial decisions, reduces risk, and strengthens operational efficiency across the organization.

What You’ll Do:
  • Govern warranty workflows, entitlement accuracy, and vendor relationships
  • Responsible for tracking, organizing, and managing all IT hardware and software assets across CPL and its offices
  • Ensure accurate inventory, coordinates equipment deployment and recovery, and maintains compliance with licensing and procurement standards
  • Support smooth IT operations in employee-facing and back-of-house environments by ensuring timely asset availability and lifecycle management
  • Work closely with the IT leadership to assist in the selection, acquisition, and storage of hardware, software, and technical services focusing on vendor contracts to ensure terms and conditions are adhered to with respect to purchasing equipment and software, their licensing requirements and the renewal of agreements
  • Effectively manage the contractual relationship with various vendors and service providers.
  • Work through M&A process to combine software licensing platforms and gather hardware asset inventory from new company.
  • Consistently monitor vendor contracts to ensure that terms and conditions are adhered to with respect to Licensing requirements and the renewal of agreements
  • Participate in the negotiation of all contracts; assists in renegotiation if contract needs to be amended to meet the needs of the organization
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for contract and licensing review, approval flow, and how procedures interface between legal and operating areas
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of the disposition of all IT hardware assets and software licensing throughout its useful lifespan including items on order, items received from vendors, items received from internal entities, hardware items in inventory, software libraries, equipment deployed, and obsolete equipment that has been decommissioned or destroyed.
  • Work with accounting staff to ensure their third-party asset inventory is up to date and that invoices are matched with receipts of hardware and software
  • Manage shipping and receiving of IT hardware from vendors, IT Team, and various internal entities while maintaining accurate shipping and receiving logs of all IT hardware
  • Identify resources that must be kept "in stock" for immediate disbursement assuring attic stock is on hand in the regions required
  • Manage IT asset disposal and certified hard drive destruction when equipment is deemed to be obsolete, non-functional, or with no capacity for reuse
  • Expedite warranty repairs by building a solid relationship and rapport with all hardware vendors
  • Track the RMA process until equipment is serviced and returned
  • Receive all purchase inquiries for IT equipment or software, completes Purchase Requisition, research and attach appropriate documentation, obtain the necessary signatures, and submit for processing according to procedure
  • Maintain an organized IT Asset Management system that is fully documented and easily utilized by other IT personnel
  • Maintain CPL’s MDM (Mobile Device Management) Platform for all Apple devices. Responsible for device assignments, profile creation, and overall management.
  • Assist with management of CPL’s Verizon account, as it pertains to iPads/iPhones with cellular service.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in IT Asset Management, Help Desk or related role.
