This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and fully automated cloud infrastructure environments. This role is focused on Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and repeatable deployment standards across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
You will be responsible for developing reusable Terraform modules, building Ansible automation frameworks, and integrating infrastructure provisioning into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate understands how to eliminate manual processes, reduce configuration drift, and improve deployment reliability in enterprise or SaaS environments.
This is a hands‑on technical role requiring strong cloud, automation, and systems engineering expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules
- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management
- Automate cloud provisioning across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Enforce security, compliance, and infrastructure standards
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, Cloud, and Application teams
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
Required skills:
- Strong Terraform experience including module design and state management
- Hands‑on experience with Ansible for configuration automation
- Experience in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls)
- Experience working in Git‑based version control workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience provisioning Kubernetes infrastructure
- Experience with policy as code (OPA, Sentinel)
- Experience implementing security automation and IAM controls
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
