Role: Logistics & Shopify Operations Assistant
Location: Remote (Offshore: Philippines or South Africa)
Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
Training Period (First 4 Weeks): 100% overlap with CST (Central Standard Time)
Post-Training: 4 hours overlap with CST
Experience: Entry Level (1+ Year Experience)

The Opportunity:

Store Management & Global Sourcing

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Assistant to manage the daily technical and logistical needs of our growing e-commerce brand. This role combines two critical functions: maintaining the Shopify store and acting as the liaison with our overseas manufacturing partners. You will be the “keeper of the details,” ensuring nothing falls through the cracks—from managing meta-fields for new collections to following up with suppliers on Alibaba.

Key Responsibilities

I. Shopify Store Coordination

  • Product & Catalog Management: Upload new products, manage inventory levels, and update pricing across the site.

  • Technical Detail Work: Maintain meta-fields, tags, and collections to ensure the store is organized and searchable.

  • Launch Support: Execute backend steps for new product or collection launches to ensure timely and error-free go-lives.

II. Supply Chain & Supplier Liaison

  • Alibaba Management: Serve as the primary contact for overseas suppliers (mostly in China).

  • Sourcing Inquiries: Request pricing, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), and production lead times from suppliers.

  • Follow-Up Mastery: Maintain rigorous follow-ups to ensure samples and production orders progress smoothly, leveraging your time zone alignment.

III. Operations & Project Tracking

  • Google Workspace: Organize files, sheets, and shared documents to keep the digital headquarters structured.

  • Hive PM: Use Hive project management software to track tasks and provide status updates to the team.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 1+ Year Experience: Background in virtual assistance, e-commerce, or administrative roles.

  • Shopify Familiarity: Comfortable with product management, inventory, and variant updates.

  • Detail-Obsessed: Accuracy in SKUs, pricing, and backend processes is critical.

  • Communication: Exceptional written English for clear, professional communication with international suppliers.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Workspace and adaptable to new tools like Hive.
