Job Title: UX (User Experience) Researcher
Location:
Remote
Duration: 12 Months
The UX Researcher will ensure digital experiences across web and mobile platforms are grounded in user insights, helping deliver intuitive, engaging, and user-centered solutions. This role is responsible for conducting methodologically sound research to inform product and design decisions.
The UX Researcher collaborates cross-functionally with product managers, product owners, designers, analysts, and engineers to understand user behavior and translate findings into actionable insights.
Core Responsibilities- Define and execute user research using qualitative and quantitative methods (usability testing, diary studies, surveys, interviews, concept testing)
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product strategy and design direction
- Ensure user feedback is integrated throughout the product development lifecycle
- Communicate insights through storytelling, journey maps, personas, and stakeholder presentations
- Present findings in ways that drive clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making
- Independently manage multiple research initiatives while aligning with project timelines and business goals
- Contribute to research best practices and documentation standards
- Support cross-functional workshops and ideation sessions with research insights
- Maintain and optimize research tools and processes
- Partner with design, product management, analytics, and optimization teams throughout research cycles
- Stay current on emerging UX trends, research methodologies, and tools
- Support research initiatives related to personalization, loyalty, and omnichannel experiences
- Provide mentorship or peer support to junior team members when appropriate
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or related field
- 5+ years of UX research experience in digital product environments (e-commerce or mobile app experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to independently scope, lead, and deliver end-to-end research initiatives
- Strong expertise in usability testing, qualitative interviewing, survey design, and research synthesis
- Experience with tools such as Figma, User Testing, Dscout, Dovetail, Marvin, or similar platforms
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in agile product environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Curiosity about customer behavior and passion for improving digital user experiences
