Airtable Developer

One of TEKsystems' top clients is looking to hire an Airtable Developer.

Seeking an Airtable Developer to support the build and maintenance of internal business operations applications. This role will execute against a defined roadmap of business systems. Each application will have a designated "use case owner" who defines requirements, and architecture standards will be provided by team leads. The Airtable Developer will focus on building, configuring, and maintaining Airtable solutions within established design patterns and governance guidelines.

• Application Build & Configuration
  • Build Airtable bases according to defined architectural standards
  • Configure tables, fields, linked records, views, and interfaces
  • Create forms and user-facing interface pages
  • Implement defined workflows and automation logic
  • Follow established naming conventions and documentation standards
• Automation & Integration Execution
  • Build Airtable automations using provided design guidance
  • Implement integrations using native Airtable syncs, email automations, predefined API/webhook patterns, and integration tools such as Make and Zapier as instructed
  • Assist in debugging automation errors
  • Escalate complex integration issues to team leads
• Support & Administration
  • Assist with user access management and permissions
  • Respond to internal Airtable questions and troubleshooting requests
  • Help monitor system performance and automation reliability
  • Support basic data hygiene and cleanup efforts
• Feature Development & Backlog Execution
  • Execute assigned feature requests from prioritized backlog
  • Break down scoped features into build tasks
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Implement revisions based on stakeholder feedback
• Documentation & Governance
  • Document build logic and automation steps
  • Maintain system documentation updates
    
    Follow enterprise governance guidelines
  • Ensure consistency across applications

• Required
  • 1-3 years experience building in Airtable (or similar no-code platforms)
  • Understanding of relational database fundamentals
  • Experience building views, interfaces, and basic automations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred
  • Experience with Make, Zapier, or similar tools
  • Basic familiarity with APIs and webhooks
  • Exposure to scripting (JavaScript a plus)
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment

This is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
