• Pay: $56.00 – $60.00 per hour
About the RoleThe Technical Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders and technical teams to analyze system workflows, define requirements, and design scalable solutions. This role evaluates current-state processes, gathers and refines technical requirements, and partners with engineering teams to support system enhancements and workflow optimization. The analyst documents technical processes, manages requirements traceability, supports deployment activities, and ensures smooth adoption through training and knowledge transfer.
The role also translates complex technical concepts for business partners, proposes future-state system improvements, and coordinates with cross‑function teams to deliver changes on time while maintaining clear communication regarding timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Identify system and process gaps, analyze root causes, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Validate solutions through testing and user feedback.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile delivery activities.
- Partner closely with financial product, operations, compliance, and risk teams to capture domain‑accurate requirements.
- Communicate complex technical and data concepts in a clear, business‑friendly manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in financial services.
- Strong understanding of banking, payments, lending, or financial operations workflows.
- Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and excellent communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to regulatory environments (KYC/AML, SOX, PCI, etc.).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Ability to operate at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring financial products and systems function effectively.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with a track record of optimizing processes and improving system performance.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, highly regulated financial environment.
- Pay: $56.00 – $60.00 per hour
