Seeking a deep IT technologist, someone that has been a CIO or CTO or a technical leader for a very large organization with multiple divisions within the organization that s sees the big picture, that has assessed the enterprise technology stack for each division locating gaps in technology for environments deep in legacy technology, understanding where technology is going and what they need to do to move forward with the future of technology from an Infrastructure, desktop, application and system perspective and create a Road Map and help enact that Road Map.

* This position will allow you to live anywhere in the US remote work, with the rare need to travel to Nebraska if needed for unforeseen circumstances or were a large presentation is needed. This is an all-inclusive rate to cover all travel, boarding and meals. If for any reason travel was needed more, they will look into covering costs or increasing rates.*

The Enterprise Architect should have broad and deep technology expertise across many technology areas, and substantial experience with both current and emerging technology. The roadmap produced should address the disposition and maintenance of existing systems, and a plan to transition to a future state that best supports the strategic

The selected candidate will have worked in multiple environments to include very large organization with multiple divisions and multiple systems for different services all with different technology stacks. This organization has 5 large divisions in the Human Benefits Services industry. Each division offers different services and systems and completely different technology stacks. Each division has 1 IT department supporting each division.

Projects in motion include the ability to offer a one place portal to go to were users of their services can get information form each organization with one application.

The role is to:

• Assess the enterprise business needs
• Assess the current enterprise technology (IT Infrastructure, Applications, tools, services, hardware, coding languages, operating systems, websites, mobile apps, desktop, digital platforms, middleware, DBs, and ETL etc).
• Assess gaps in the enterprise technology stack; what needs transforming; what new technology needed
• Create an enterprise technology Road Map
• Enact the technology Road Map engage the executive strategy

The initial contract will go through January 2023 however as an organization they have many other projects and if you are the right person that can manage these other projects from a transformation enterprise architectural transformation perspective then there will be lots of other work to do over the coming years. This person will work hand in hand with the CIO and CTO and Chief Architect with assistant Architect.

They expect a draft architectural road map by the end of April. After the road map has been modified and approved then you would enact the Road Map.

This candidate needs to have assessed the complete enterprise IT Architecture for large organizations with multiple divisions. We are not interested in Architects that have been a Cloud Architect for a single stack technology or single application. This is enterprise wide for an umbrella of companies and technologies with different applications, different systems; very diverse in technology with five major divisions within the human services benefits industry.

The Enterprise Architect will be solutions focused and technology agnostic, ensuring the maximum adherence to technical outcomes in an unbiased way. They will act individually and as part of a team to provide wise, unbiased counsel to leadership and the organization performing the activities below:
