Remote Senior Business Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Agile Business Analyst - REMOTE. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the modernization of mission-critical applications used throughout the U.S. Courts. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting business requirements, collaborating with product owners, and employing Agile practices to enhance user experience.

• Elicit and capture business requirements in an Agile software development environment.
• Document and manage acceptance criteria, business rules, and requirement documentation.
• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize user stories and conduct usability testing.
• Utilize UI/UX concepts to design technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Decompose Epics into detailed functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Participate in the development and refinement of Project Backlog Stories.
• Facilitate the team in developing acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Document standard operating procedures and maintain release information.
• Develop process flows, wireframes, and mockups to visualize dependencies and workflows.
• Support the testing team to ensure alignment with the business vision.
• Conduct business process analysis and provide technical assistance.

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years of experience in Agile software development.
• Experience with at least one enterprise software project in the last three years.
• Strong understanding of Agile processes and practices.
• Ability to write acceptance criteria and conduct testing effectively.
• Proficient in Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in a complex environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
