Business Analyst

Our client, a government agency dedicated to public service and digital accessibility, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Department of Corrections supporting the Bureau of Technology Management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, proactive communication, and a strong commitment to accessibility standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Support ADA compliance efforts across digital platforms including websites, applications, PDFs, and digital documents.
• Conduct accessibility testing using tools such as WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, Acrobat Pro, and manual keyboard testing.
• Develop and improve accessibility testing procedures and documentation.
• Educate and assist staff in creating accessible digital content.
• Ensure digital content is usable for individuals relying on assistive technologies, aligning with ADA, WCAG 2.2, and Section 508 standards.

What's Needed?

• 2-4 years of ADA Accessibility experience with websites, applications, PDFs, and conventional documents.
• Hands-on experience with accessibility tools such as WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, Acrobat Pro, and manual keyboard testing.
• Strong understanding of ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.2, and accessibility standards.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated drive and urgency in completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
