Job Description

Summary:

The Director, Agile and Product Operations drives BBG’s agile and product-centric transformation by leading Scrum Masters, Technical Program Managers, and serving as Product Owner for Agile tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence). The role scales Agile frameworks and orchestrates Program Increment Planning aligned to enterprise roadmaps and product plans, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery through strong governance, cross-team collaboration, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.

Job Description:

This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with two days per week in the office and three days working from home. This role can be performed from any Breakthru Beverage Office Location.

Job Responsibilities
  • Agile Enablement Leader
  • Lead and develop a team of Scrum Masters and Technical Program Managers to drive high levels of agility, delivery productivity, and innovation across teams and the broader BBG organization.
  • Define, implement, and continuously mature Agile and product development practices across Product, Engineering, and Design.
  • Agile and Product Management Practice Leadership
  • Champion, govern, and scale Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), establishing clear standards, processes, and success metrics.
  • Serve as Principal Agilist, leading the cultural and operational transformation of BBG IT into a high-performing, agile, and product-centric organization.
  • Drive consistency and scalability of Agile practices through governance forums, lean metrics reviews, and a Center of Excellence—balancing enterprise standards with contextual flexibility.
  • IT Program Increment Planning
  • Lead core planning ceremonies to ensure shared understanding of scope, objectives, dependencies, and measures of success.
  • Orchestrate Program Increment Planning by aligning business and IT priorities with the enterprise roadmap and product plans, enabling cross-team collaboration, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring clear objectives, cadence, and outcomes that drive predictable delivery and continuous value.
  • Product Operations/ Delivery Oversight
  • Partner with Product, BRMs and Delivery leaders to ensure end-to-end execution of complex initiatives, overseeing scope, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Ensure software delivery follows Agile or hybrid methodologies, delivering value through iterative and incremental cycles.
  • Act as an escalation point for impediment removal, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
  • Agile Tools Product Owner
  • Serve as Product Owner for Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), defining vision, roadmap, and priorities to ensure tools effectively support Agile delivery, PI Planning, reporting, and enterprise transparency.
  • Govern configuration, standards, and usage of Agile tools, partnering with IT, Product, and Delivery teams to drive adoption, optimize workflows, enable meaningful metrics, and continuously improve the end-to-end delivery experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field
  • 10 years of experience in Agile program management, with a strong focus on enterprise Agile transformation.
  • 5 years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of large-scale business initiatives.
  • Expertise and experience in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), Scrum, and Kanban
  • Strong understanding of Agile governance and value stream optimization
  • Strong program/project management fundamentals, strategic thinking, and financial acumen.
  • Proven leadership in driving organizational change. Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
  • Experience with Agile tools (JIRA & JIRA Product Discovery), metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
