The Event Technology Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the technology infrastructure that supports virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. This role oversees event platforms, streaming solutions, registration systems, audiovisual integrations, and technical support processes to ensure seamless attendee experiences. The Event Technology Manager collaborates with event planners, marketing teams, vendors, and IT stakeholders in a fully remote environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the selection, deployment, and management of event technology platforms
Oversee virtual and hybrid event streaming solutions
Manage event registration systems and attendee data integrations
Coordinate with AV vendors and technical partners
Ensure reliable system performance during live events
Develop event technology workflows and documentation
Troubleshoot technical issues before and during events
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on event execution
Monitor event performance metrics and provide post-event reporting
Maintain compliance with data security and privacy standards
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Event Management, Marketing, or related field
4–7 years of experience in event technology, technical production, or digital platform management
Experience managing virtual or hybrid event platforms
Strong understanding of streaming technologies and web-based systems
Project management skills with ability to manage deadlines
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience with enterprise event platforms
Knowledge of audiovisual production systems
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation integrations
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Experience supporting large-scale conferences or global events
Annual Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 USD
