Purpose

Provides technical implementation and support for a number of modules within an application suite.

What Will You Do

Participate in user workshops to capture and understand customer requirements.
Gather, manage and analyse user and technical requirements to design new application changes.
Work with multiple stakeholders during project delivery and actively participate in all project meetings.
Coordinate with implementation testing and support the application during delivery.
Ensure quality solutions are delivered to business users on time and within budget.
Contribute to the development of application and process best practices and use a consultative approach to gain stakeholder buy‑in.

Qualifications

Experience

At least 5 years’ experience in deployment or support of application software, implementing systems and modules with multiple full lifecycle implementations.

Knowledge & Skills

Maintain and support applications implemented.
Understand SITA methodologies and practices.
Draft technical documentation for application maintenance.
Escalate risks and issues that pose a significant impact on deliverables.
Support implementation and user acceptance testing.
Understand IT security concepts and application to system architecture.
Good understanding of system integration and hardware.
Expertise with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 onward: installation, troubleshooting, clustering and domain controllers.
Knowledge of messaging platforms – MS MQ, Active MQ, Rabbit MQ, etc.
Understanding of IIS web.
Understanding of VMware concepts.
Understanding of SQL installation, clustering, always on and database maintenance.
Basic understanding of scripting languages like HTML, JavaScript, XML recommended.
Basic understanding of data analysis software such as SQL SSRS, Tableau, etc.
Strong office software skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Education & Qualifications

University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.
