Senior Network Engineer

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will support their client's network infrastructure by implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems. They provide second-level support to the Help Desk and regional administrators, requiring expertise in operating systems, networking, and security. Responsibilities include issue documentation, monitoring for high uptime, and collaboration with IT teams.

• Network Provider Liaison:
  Work with global providers to enhance JAS Worldwide Network.
• Security Policy Management:
  Build, configure, and audit firewall and SASE security policies.
• Security Posture Improvement:
  Enhance global security through segmentation and standardization.
• Policy Communication:
  Communicate and audit network policies to remote offices.
• Routing/Switching Consistency:
  Ensure global consistency and troubleshoot issues.
• Device Configuration:
  Configure and manage routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Disaster Recovery Planning:
  Configure and document failover/disaster recovery plans.
• Network Monitoring:
  Ensure and document network logging and monitoring systems.
• Incident Tracking:
  Log incidents and resolutions, contributing to a knowledge base.
• Application Testing Support:
  Assist with testing new software releases.
• Software/Hardware Expertise:
  Maintain expertise in standard software and hardware.
• User Training:
  Provide individual and group instruction on equipment and software.
• Project Support:
  Assist with project information and provide updates to the Network Manager.
