Position: Econometric Data Analyst (Remote)

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking an Econometric Data Analyst with deep expertise in Stata SE to support advanced research and policy-focused analytical projects.

This role is ideal for professionals experienced in panel data analysis, causal inference, and reproducible research workflows.

Role Overview

You will design and implement econometric models using Stata SE, manage complex datasets, and produce well-documented, reproducible research outputs. The role requires strong technical rigor, analytical precision, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to academic or policy audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement econometric models using Stata SE
  • Conduct panel data analysis and apply causal inference techniques
  • Develop and optimize do-files for automation and reproducibility
  • Clean, transform, and validate large-scale datasets
  • Produce clear technical reports, memos, and presentation materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine analytical approaches
  • Ensure transparency, reproducibility, and ethical data handling standards
Required Qualifications
  • Expert proficiency in Stata SE
  • Strong experience with econometric modeling and automation via do-files
  • Advanced knowledge of panel data methods and causal inference frameworks
  • Experience handling and optimizing large datasets
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience supporting academic research or policy institutions
  • Familiarity with complementary tools such as R or Python
  • Experience producing peer-reviewed or policy-grade analytical outputs
