KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Windows Desktop Support Technician foran immediate contract engagement with our government client.
Work Location: This position is Onsite
Job Description:
We Are Seeking a Windows Desktop Support Technician / User Technology Specialist to provide temporary IT support and ensure continuity of technology operations during staff absences. This role focuses on maintaining reliable desktop and device functionality, supporting end users, and helping prevent service disruptions through proactive technical support and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Provide backup IT support for desktop technology environments.
• Deliver end-user support for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage hardware inventory, tracking, and lifecycle processes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support records.
• Assist with device deployment, configuration, and user onboarding.
• Provide basic user training and guidance on technology tools.
• Support process improvements related to desktop support and device management.
Required Skills:
• Windows desktop support and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong end-user technical support skills.
• Hardware inventory and asset management experience.
• Knowledge of desktop imaging and system deployment (preferred).
• Ability to document processes and maintain technical records.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
