The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a second level (level
2)
Network Communications Manager to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team in Palmdale, CA.

Work with Network Architect and Senior Network Engineering Leads to coordinate team resources.
Take a key role in managing budgets for Network Engineering items including; (Hardware procurement, license and support sustainment, equipment refresh and upgrades)
Facilitate training and improvement of the Networking Teams’ technical and leadership development.
Collaborate with Network Architect and Project Management Team in Interacting with internal key executive and customers on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and provide guidance and oversight to the employees to complete key deliverables/milestones.
The successful candidate must be customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
Functionally lead a team of approximately 12-15 Network Administrators, providing day to day operational leadership, oversight and allocation of resources. Perform quarterly connections, employees reviews, career coaching and compensation planning.
Serve as the focal point for all Network Engineering activity within the Program for both current and new business.
Work after hours and weekends as needed.
Travel as required.
Associate's degree and 11 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 7 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 13 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree
Candidates must have an active DOD Top Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret/SCI clearance as a condition of continued employment in order to be considered
Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as condition of continued employment
Experience with network infrastructure and/or IT management
Bachelors or Masters degree in IS related field.
Active DOD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
