Description
Our customer, is in need of an Epic Cogito certified resource to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Qualified candidates must have an Epic Cogito certification and experience working with SQL, metrics and slicerdicer models. More specifically, slicerdicer is new for a lot of people and it's new to epic, but they need to have experience in building new data models in slicerdicer, which requires a little bit of architecting, building new tables and creating some ETL items.

What they do is they can add more data (outside data sources or outside fields) to their slicerdicer models. SQL - be familiar with clarity and caboodle. This person needs to understand the clinical workflows, as they will be working heavily with clinical users.
Qualified candidates will bring strong SQL Server development and reporting experience, preferably 3-5 years of recent experience. Open to candidates without any of the Epic or Healthcare experience, as he can teach that to someone.
Epic has a utility that gives you a starter kit or starter files, but no one can seem to validate it. They take that, bring in other data sources through SQL server and they create a single file. They load that into power

BI (could use tableau or otherwise). The size of the file contains 1M lines of data. This also requires validation from the various business groups to ensure accuracy of pricing. For example, they will look up a bandaid and this process will run through every outlet of their system to validate the cost of that bandaid.
Technology stack: everything they do is Microsoft based (SSIS and SQL). They do have some leftovers that are using .net and APIs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
