Senior Infrastructure Engineer

A local Sioux Falls financial company is looking to bring in a 12-month Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to assist with moving more into Azure and so looking for someone who has extensive Terraform experience, Azure infrastructure setup and security best practices experience, AWS Cloud infrastructure setup and configuration, and helping to drive automation initiatives as well. Helping the organization set up to have more into Azure and to help them determine where it realistically makes sense to add more into the Cloud.

The purpose in moving more into Azure from an organization perspective is to help accelerate cloud adoption, improve efficiency, security posture, and enable Dev Ops practices.

• Terraform Expertise: assist in expanding infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform & support the team in integrating new processes and resources into Terraform workflows.
• Azure Infrastructure & Security: provide guidance on general Azure infrastructure setup & support tagging strategies, security best practices, and Terraform deployment in Azure.
• AWS Cloud Support: help with AWS infrastructure setup and configuration & implement tagging standards and Terraform deployment in AWS.
• Automation & Process Improvement: drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks & collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for scripting, tooling, and workflow optimization.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Windows, hands on support and related debugging.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts and automation tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of scripting languages such as Power Shell and Python.
• Experience with deploying/supporting Azure AD, AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Experience in Azure, Active Directory Domain Services, file structures and security, backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Installation of software in accordance with corporate standards.
• Follow configuration and change management processes.
• Understand computer architecture and operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Storage Area Network and Network-Attached Storage technologies.
• Knowledge with Virtualization technologies including VMWare.
• Assist with testing as necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

7:30‑5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday CST, and 7:30‑12:30 pm on Friday's.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 – $75.00/hr.

This is a fully remote position.
