A trading company is implementing a new SAP S/4
HANA–based ERP system
, scheduled to go live in early February. As part of this transformation, the Philippines entity is addressing challenges related to statutory tax reporting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Current issues exist in extracting accounting data from a legacy system and uploading it into SAP Business One due to limitations in an existing uploader (UL) tool. In parallel, a new uploader solution aligned with SAP S/4
HANA (MOCA) must be designed and implemented.
An experienced consultant is required to stabilize the current solution while driving the delivery of a future‑ready uploader, working closely with business users, local development partners, and the global ERP implementation team.
Key Responsibilities Current‑State Stabilization- Analyze the existing UL tool and identify root causes of data extraction and upload issues.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements for UL tool enhancements.
- Coordinate enhancement planning, development scheduling, and delivery with the local vendor (Dynam IQ).
- Support issue resolution to ensure continuity of statutory tax reporting.
- Collaborate with the global SAP S/4
HANA (MOCA) implementation team to design uploader components aligned with the new ERP architecture. - Ensure consistency between interim solutions and the S/4
HANA target‑state design. - Oversee development and completion of S/4
HANA‑aligned uploader components.
- Act as the primary liaison between local Accounting/Finance users, Dynam
IQ, and senior local management. - Communicate daily with local users and development partners.
- Provide regular status updates, risk reporting, and progress reports to the General Manager (Japanese expatriate) and local leadership.
- Work onsite with the local support team during the initial project phase.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting and finance processes
. - Experience with financial data extraction, transformation, and reporting
. - Exposure to SAP FI or SAP-based financial systems is preferred (functional provided by the global team).
- Proven to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior management.
- Experience or coordinating with external development vendors is highly desirable.
- Hybrid engagement
: Onsite in the Philippines during the initial phase (requirements, development kickoff, issue resolution). Remote work from Singapore thereafter.
- Flexibility to return onsite in the Philippines as required based on project progress and business needs.
- Engagement continues until completion of UL tool enhancements and S/4
HANA-aligned uploader components.
