Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Product Technical Support organization! In this role, you will extract valuable insights from data, enabling informed decision‑making, and driving our organizational growth. This position involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable recommendations. This is a remote position for US based candidates. Candidates must be US citizens and/or permanent resident of the US. Sponsorship is not offered.
- Data Collection and Cleaning
- Extract data from primary and secondary sources
- Ensure data accuracy and quality by removing irrelevant information.
- Classify and organize data for further analysis.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within complex datasets.
- Translate findings into meaningful insights.
- Database Management
- Develop and manage data systems and databases.
- Implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Maintain data sources and ensure data integrity.
- Data Visualization
- Master data visualization tools to create easily understandable graphs.
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making through visual representations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business analytics) is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power Bi).
- US citizen or permanent resident of the US.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. However, we recognize that exceptional candidates may bring unique skills and experiences that exceed the typical profile.
