ATC Tower Remote Pilot Operator

• Operate simulated radar and voice communication systems during air traffic control training exercises
• Receive and respond to voice commands from students, simulating pilot actions and communications
• Input proper entries into the automated system to effectively simulate pilot actions
• Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
• Complete required certifications, including classroom and lab testing on airspace and procedures

• Minimum educational requirement:
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
• Clear verbal communication skills to ensure understanding
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, including multimedia developers and subject matter experts
• Certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
• Familiarity with FAA Order JO 7110.65
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Basic understanding of pilot/controller communications and phraseology
