We are seeking an experienced MS365 Operations Administrator to support core Microsoft 365 services within a large Federal enterprise environment under the Enterprise Messaging, Collaboration, Authentication, and Office 365 (EMCAO) program. This role provides 24x7x365 Tier III operational support across Messaging, One Drive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams services within the enterprise Microsoft 365 tenant. The MS365 Operations Administrator delivers end-to-end operational support to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant enterprise collaboration services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide 24x7x365 Tier III operational support for Microsoft 365 core services including Messaging (Exchange Online), One Drive for Business, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Monitor and address Tier III Service Now ticket queues and resolve incidents in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Provision, configure, and manage shared mailboxes, distribution groups, user licensing, and account‑related administration activities.
  • Perform user account management tasks and support identity‑related operational requests.
  • Utilize basic to intermediate Power Shell scripting to support bulk provisioning and administrative tasks.
  • Monitor and resolve service alerts associated with messaging and collaboration services.
  • Troubleshoot email encryption issues related to Outlook, AIP, PKI, and RMS.
  • Provide One Drive user training and support secure sharing, sync issues, missing files, and access restoration.
  • Support SharePoint Online site collections, permissions configuration, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and template administration.
  • Support Microsoft Teams administration, embedded applications, licensing, and end‑user functionality.
  • Assist with Power Apps and Power Automate integrations related to SharePoint Online environments.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge articles, FAQs, training materials, and Service Now knowledge base documentation.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous operational improvement activities.
KNOWLEDGE AND

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 4+ years of relevant IT experience supporting Microsoft 365 core workloads within enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Basic to intermediate Power Shell scripting skills for administrative tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
  • Experience working with Federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs, is a plus.
  • Experience operating in a 24x7 SLA‑driven support model.
  • Experience providing end‑to‑end operational support within regulated Microsoft 365 enterprise environments aligned to formal configuration, change, and security management processes.
  • Microsoft 365 certifications preferred but not required.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
WORK LOCATION:
  • Remote
