Salary range: $91,466.95 to $ for Schedule A, and $91,466.95 to $ for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.
Remote work is possible. The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high‑speed home internet access. This program does not supersede the "New Jersey First Act", which requires newly hired Judiciary employees to establish and then maintain a principal residence in the State of New Jersey.
Responsibilities- Lead the analysis, design, and management of system development and maintenance by partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective technology solutions tailored to user needs
- Lead team members or other group of non‑subordinates in assigned tasks
- Write specifications for new computer programs and enhancements, constructing workflow diagrams, generating user documentation, recommending process and design changes to case management systems
- Define project requirements with related project milestones and schedules
- Define and document customer business functions and processes
- Facilitate communication and understanding between stakeholders and software development teams to ensure alignment of project objectives
- Communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements in delivering business requirements documents (e.g., UI designs, screen‑flow diagrams, wireframes & user interface specification documentation)
- Create test scripts and perform a variety of system and user testing across multiple platforms
- Design and conduct presentations and training sessions to internal and external customers (including judges, court staff, attorneys and other governmental entities)
- Design and create online training tutorials
- Conduct interviews and attend site visits to research and analyze work methods, processes, and programs
- Formulate management reports and facilitate meetings to track/monitor project progress
- Perform other related duties as required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human‑computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, business analytics, data analytics and/or cybersecurity and three years of professional experience in: analyzing, designing,…
