Akamai Lead Analyst

• Manage and optimize Akamai delivery, performance, and security configurations
• Conduct traffic analysis to differentiate between legitimate users and malicious actors
• Implement configuration changes for Akamai services, including redirects and SSL certificates
• Analyze Real User Monitoring (RUM) data to provide actionable performance insights
• Lead bot management strategy to prevent site instability and inventory abuse

• Strong hands-on experience with Akamai ION, WAF, Edge Logic, and mPulse (RUM Analytics)
• Experience with DNS and SSL implementations, Site Shield, and CDN caching strategies
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, web performance optimization, and OWASP security standards
• Log analysis experience using Splunk or similar tools
• Experience in high-traffic retail/eCommerce environments

• Previous experience in a similar role within a high-traffic retail or eCommerce environment
• Familiarity with advanced bot mitigation techniques and strategies
