** Position Overview
** The Director, Business Portfolio Management is a critical leadership role within the Technology Infrastructure & Operations (TIO) and Business Enablement Technology (BET) teams. This position partners with technology and business leaders to drive strategic IT initiatives, oversee major programs and projects, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The Director will streamline processes, manage financial and resource planning, ensure compliance with risk and governance standards, and monitor performance metrics to support operational excellence and digital transformation.

This role also serves as a trusted advisor to the CIO and executive committees, bridging the gap between IT and business through systematic communication and collaboration.
** Major Responsibilities
**** 1. Strategic Leadership & Alignment
*** Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of TIO and CIO of MUSA, driving execution of technology strategy across the enterprise.
* Partner with Americas and Global IT leadership to develop and maintain the Information Technology for the Americas (ITA) strategy.
* Align IT leadership teams (Compute, Storage, Data, End User, Technical Service Management, Front Office, Back Office, Public Cloud) on strategic imperatives.
* Lead annual IT strategic planning and budgeting cycles in collaboration with technology and business leaders.
* Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure strategic goals align with employee performance expectations and rewards.
* Liaise with and ensure ITA alignment with Home Office (Tokyo) strategies and goals.
** 2. Program & Project Management
*** Oversee delivery of high-impact technology programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Track progress against strategic priorities and provide actionable insights to the CIO and executive committees.
* Achieve OKRs and KPIs aligned with TIO/BET; inform key metrics and thresholds in fiscal year planning.
** 3. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
*** Streamline business processes, break down barriers, and enable ambitious business objectives through automation and efficiency.
* Champion process improvements and operational efficiency across TIO and BET organizations.
* Drive cross-functional initiatives that advance digital transformation and operational resilience.
* Drive adoption of best practices in Agile, Dev Ops, and modern delivery methodologies.
** 4. Financial & Resource Management
*** Monitor and control financial spend, report variances, and optimize spend for increased efficiency.
* Collect and prioritize resource and investment demand with key stakeholders.
* Manage headcount planning and organizational change initiatives.
* Lead on- and offshoring workforce planning in partnership with management.
* Understand contract and vendor landscape, proactively identifying opportunities to eliminate costs.
