Oracle ERP Test Manager (Inside IR35 Contract)

At Version 1, we’re delivering some of the UK & Ireland’s most significant Oracle Cloud transformations. We’re looking for an experienced Oracle ERP Test Manager to take ownership of end-to-end testing across high-impact programmes — ensuring quality, control, and confidence at every stage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on Test Manager contractor who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys leading teams, shaping strategy, and driving delivery excellence.

What you’ll be doing

You will:

  • Define and own test strategy, plans, and schedules aligned to project timelines
  • Lead SIT and UAT planning, coordination, and execution
  • Manage defect triage, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication
  • Oversee the creation and quality of all test artefacts
  • Coordinate testing across upstream and downstream integrations
  • Coach teams on test design and scripting best practices
  • Ensure delivery meets Version 1 standards and client expectations
Qualifications

What we’re looking for

You will have:

  • Proven experience as an ERP Test Manager across implementations or upgrades
  • Experience delivering multiple end-to-end testing life cycles
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud or E-Business Suite or equivalent ERP (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics) environments
  • Expertise in test management, defect management, and reporting
  • Experience leading distributed or hybrid test teams
  • Familiarity with test automation approaches
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to deliver under tight timelines
